Search tips
While no search is foolproof, adding the word jacket for example, will limit the entries to those possessing a dustjacket.
- Words within double quotes ("") will match an exact word or words in a phrase.
- Use the minus sign (-) immediately before a word (or phrase within quotes) to exclude it from the search results.
- Wildcard characters are * and _ for example, ance* will find ancestor, and *ance will find appearance
- Use the underscore _ to match adjacent letters. For example een_gables will retrieve Green Gables
- Complex search terms can be constructed such as: -hardback jacket -"torn pages" ance*
